Get Creative with KPIRG
KPIRG is always looking for ways for students to get involved. Whether it’s through volunteering, joining a committee, event planning/organizing, or creatively – there is always something to contribute.
KPIRG values the creative process behind art and we are always blown away after getting a snapshot of the mind of the creator. Whether your creativity is found through your words, a paintbrush, a pencil, or photograph – we want to see what you can do. Students can contribute to the KPIRG ZINE series (1 zine released per semester), volunteer to make posters for events & workshops, or even create your own art-based action group.
Art is an extremely powerful way to get a message across, let KPIRG be the medium for you to carry your message forward.
KPIRG Summer ZINE:
What is a ZINE?
A zine (/ˈziːn/ zeen; an abbreviation of fanzine or magazine) is most commonly a small circulation self-published work of original or appropriated texts and images usually reproduced via photocopier. (Thanks, Wikipedia!)
